Where to next?

Haven't posted for a while as I'm considering where next to take the blog. Since starting it has become a bit of a mishmash of ideas and quite general, while trying to avoid getting into tips, if only because I'm not qualified nor want to be a tipster. So, I'm considering where to take things next. One of the problems with a blog is not always knowing how big the readership is. Stats may be improving, but some of them are always likely to be spam, no one might be reading.

So, if anyone has any ideas of what they would like to read about please post a reply below.

  1. I only check in here every now and again. Purely just to have a read really as I don't own any stocks. Have you looked into any of the various crypto-currencies doing the rounds at the moment? Unfortunately, I didn't buy BTC at $11 but I'll get over it. Plenty of different coins available now, so that's where my thoughts currently are.

    1. Thanks for the comment. I think what I was getting at in terms of going forward was still about stock markets and shares, but how to do it. I think that people perhaps like tips but that's not an area that I wanted to get into. I've thought about a few themes that could be done on a weekly basis, rather than the mishmash of different things that the blog has become. I'm also not convinced that there are that many readers and to be honest I don't really do much to advertise the site. In recent times my interest in social media, forums, etc has dropped off as 99% what is there comes across as noise, people who have agendas and rubbish! In the share game there are also a lot of rampers as well, so you have to take everything you read online with a pinch of salt. With a blog you have to find a niche and I'm not sure I have that here yet.

    2. Hi

I always find your thoughts on investor psychology and the way the market or individual stocks may respond to news very interesting. The way you outline how indices may (or do) react to news is educational in a way that is not covered by the mainstream press.

      All the best

  2. Hi,

I've liked your posts as you come across as your 'own boss' who practices DYOR and that warrants respect. Hopefully you can continue but I understand if you feel there is no audience out there.

All the best and keep the successful trading going.

  3. Hi,
I really like your blog. Mainly, as it's neutral - you're not offering anything there for money. (no tips, no brokers or software) Could you please help me to find good real time price provider as I don't believe in ADVFN - I feel like it's not worthy to pay for it so much money despite it's mentioned many times in the NakedTrader book.

    Thanks.

And please carry on with your blog ;-)
