Going to try something new which I will try to get out before the start of the market week in future and that is a week ahead feature. This will focus on what is happening in the week to come, covering announcements and company news. It will not be all inclusive or just a list of dates as that can be found elsewhere, but will spotlight a few situations with comments worth watching out for.

Company Announcements
15th April
Ladbrokes - The news is in on this one, looks like a profit warning, will update on this one later today.
17th April
Tesco Final Results - The market may well be expecting a further announcement regarding its US loss making Fresh n Easy. Looks like the total loss may be around £1 billion to exit the US, but the market will probably be happy that it is out of the way.
Speedy Hire - Been going great guns recently and the market will hope for more of the same and no surprises for momentum to be maintained when it updates.
18th April
Debenhams Interim Results - Look for news regarding the weather and its effect on trading. Snow in March and April, have people stayed at home?
19th April
William Hill - Q1 interim Management statement - After the Ladbrokes announcement today the market will await this one with eager anticipation. William Hill has been going great guns recently and the price is stretched both fundamentally and technically. Any disappointment could see a big sell off.
